Introducing Our Newly Elected UMAPs Leadership Team

In November 2025, United Medical Associate Professionals held our first leadership election to appoint our General Secretary, Deputy General Secretary, and specialist President and Vice President roles. As a membership organisation, we strive to uphold a democratic and transparent election process, and we are immensely proud of the inclusive, dedicated leadership team that we have assembled to represent our diverse community of MAPs.

All but two of our leadership roles were elected without contest and the two positions that were not were due to no nominations for the position. We anticipate opening a further election process to fill the role of Deputy President of AAs and Deputy President of the Educator’s Network, in the near future.
